GENERAL INFO
This NSWBJJ Federation event is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition for Kids, Juveniles, Adults (Male and Female), and Masters Divisions in the Gi and NOGI for all belt levels.
The tournament is single elimination.
Medals will be awarded to 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place of each division.
Athletes will not compete for third place. Two bronze medals will be given.
At the entry and at the weigh in, athletes will be asked to show their smoothcomp ID to the officials. Athletes are able to visit smoothcomp.com/id in order to view their Smoothcomp ID
The NSW BJJ Federation reserves the right to close registration when we reach full capacity or on the day of the appointed event registration deadline, whichever comes first.
SMOOTHCOMP ID
To speed up the process at the entry of the event and during the weigh-in, athletes are required to present their Smoothcomp ID. Athletes are able to visit smoothcomp.com/id in order to view their Smoothcomp ID. This will help organizers find athlete's registrations.

OTHER UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
Wearing pants of any kind under GI pants is prohibited, except for women, who are permitted to use pants made of elastic fabric (clings to body) under the GI pants, as long as these pants are shorter than the GI pants.
Athletes must use undergarments. The use of thong-type undergarments is not permitted; only briefs-type undergarments.
GIs may not exhibit mending or tears, be wet or dirty, or emanate unpleasant odors.
WEIGH-INS:
Before their first fight, the athlete must check their weight while wearing their Gi or NOGI uniform. If they are competing in both divisions, they must weigh in separately for each division in the respective uniform. There is only one opportunity to check the weight for each division. If the competitor fails to make weight, they will be immediately disqualified. Ensure that you are in the correct weight division, as you cannot change divisions if you do not meet your designated weight. No changes will be allowed on the day of the tournament, and no refunds will be issued.

All athletes should fight and weigh-in with the Gi or NOGI uniforms.
There is only one opportunity to check the weight. If the competitor does not make his/her weight, they will be immediately disqualified. There is no tolerance on weight allowed.
Please make sure that you are in the correct weight division. You can not change divisions if you do not make your designated division. No changes will be accepted on the tournament day, no refund.
Example: -82.3 Kg (Middle Weight ) means athlete must weigh -82.3 Kg or below with their Gi on, 82.4 Kg will result in disqualification. The same applies to NOGI weight divisions.
